Pork & Beans
One of my husband’s favorites! I was supposed to have school on Monday night, but because of the 3 feet of snow in our school parking lot, it was cancelled. I had already planned for a crock pot meal for the boys, so I went ahead and put it together. This is a simple recipe and after you put it in the crock pot, you are done for the day. To give this some more nutrients, I put some finely chopped spinach in it, you can barely see it and can’t taste it at all. If you like spinach, you could just tear it and throw it in bigger pieces. You may need to add a 1/2 cup or so of water to this, if you feel there isn’t enough liquid for the amount of time you’ll be cooking it. So nice to have a meal I don’t have to force them to eat!
Combine & cook on low for 6-8 hours.
