My humble attempt at a cooking blog. Email me any great recipes you have. I'll try them out and if I like them, I'll post them here. Proper credit given, of course. angelasangle@gmail.com |

And what better way to celebrate than to enjoy a treat from someone who’s name is synonymous with chocolate, Godiva. Now, I don’t usually do expensive, name brand things, but Godiva’s chocolate cannot be compared with the likes of a Hershey bar (which, I love, by the way). Godiva’s milk chocolate is smooth with just a hint of chocolate’s natural bitterness. If you like more of the full flavored natural chocolate, their dark chocolate is the way to go. And once you decide on the chocolate, you have to decide what you want inside. You can get raspberry, caramel, ganache, cinnamon, coffee, almond…the possibilities are almost endless. My hands down favorite, though, isn’t one of the boxed chocolates. I love their chocolate covered strawberries. They don’t always offer them, usually only around Valentine’s Day, but they are worth the wait. I have a recipe for chocolate covered strawberries that you make with shortening and chocolate chips, but it isn’t the same. I wish you all a Happy Chocolate Day, now sit back, relax, and enjoy something sweet.
